George Lovett collected his second Cy Young in five years, it was announced by the USOTB. Lovett went 12-2 with a 1.73 ERA in 2003. In 104 innings, he gave up 85 hits, struck out 98, and walked just 18. Lovett previously won the award back in 1999, when the Reds advanced to the State Finals. Lovett was unavailable for comment.
