DILORENZO, GOLDSCHMIDT WIN POST-SEASON AWARDS

Pete DiLorenzo (pictured left) and Tim Goldschmidt took home the Most Valuable Player and Manager of the Year awards, respectively, it was announced by the USOTB. DiLorenzo was voted the league's MVP by his peers, hitting a team-leading .471 with 36 RBI's and 34 runs scored. Goldschmidt was named the league's top manager for a third time (1999, 2002) in leading the Reds to a 23-4 overall record and the squad's second state championship this past season.
